Carriers and freight forwarders around the world have limited liability for any financial loss that you may get if your cargo is valuable you are always recommended to purchase an insurance coverage during transport to avoid the carrier’s or freight forwarder's limited liability.

As the carrier or freight forwarder will only be liable if damage or loss occurs due to mistakes or negligence during transport that are proven. This liability is also limited

If the value of your consignment is higher than the maximum amount your carrier or freight forwarder is liable for it will be highly advisable to get cargo insurance.
